Bob Mosher on reaching learners where it matters

Global Learning Alliance ¦ 24 March 2005

Bob Mosher, Director of Microsoft Learning, is to deliver a keynote presentation at the ‘Moving forward with organizational learning’ events on 18 May 2005 in London and 19 May 2005 in Amsterdam.

Moving forward with organizational learning is a one-day seminar event, running in Amsterdam and London, tackling two of the most important learning subjects today, workplace performance support and learning analytics.

Bob Mosher, outlining his key note address, said: “Informal learning, learning often outside structured learning programs usually taking place in the workplace, through networking, searching, collaboration and trying things out, accounts for 75% of the way people learn today.”

“A challenge for the learning industry is how to make this more effective? How can we maximize this critical time and turn it to the significant advantage of the learner and the enterprise.”

Alfred Remmits, CEO Global Learning Alliance, the event organizer, said: “Bob Mosher is highly respected throughout the learning industry for his vision and energy. We’re delighted that Bob Mosher will be taking part in ‘Moving forward with organizational learning’ this May.”

Bob Mosher’s presentation is titled ‘Informal Learning: Reaching learners where it matters’ and will discuss the power of blended learning tools that can help to reach learners in and beyond the classroom.
