Over the past 10 years René has been involved in the implementation and roll out of BAAN, an ERP software package of SSA. He has managed the roll out at the head office in Papendrecht and several home markets, such as the UK, USA, the Netherlands, Germany and Finland. For the last few years he headed a team that developed an easy-to-use ERP system (ERP Lite) to be used for the administration of dredging projects. The training aspects and the integration of work instructions were also part of his job.
Prior to his involvement with ERP, René was responsible - in his function as project manager - for the execution and daily management of several dredging projects. For more than twenty years he managed projects on a worldwide basis, working in Algeria, Denmark, Sudan, Hong Kong, Egypt, Bangladesh and many other countries. His worldwide practical experience has been used for the development of an easy-to-use ERP system with integrated training material and work instructions.
