Sylvia van de Bunt-Kokhuis
Dr. Sylvia van de Bunt-Kokhuis (1955) is Associate Professor Human Resources Management at The Hague University in The Hague and lecturer Business Studies at the Faculty of Economics of the Vrije Universiteit at Amsterdam. She is Visiting Professor at Middlesex University in London, and member of the Advisory Board of the Dutch Knowledge Centre for Commissarissen (NKCC).
She has more than 20 years of consultancy experience for companies, the European Commission and universities on cross cultural issues, HRM and internet. During 2004-2005 she was coordinator of a large scale European project FILTER, investigating the hidden cultural and economic filtering of online content, with partners in 12 European countries, www.filternetwork.org. Her inaugural speech at Middlesex University 2005) was entitled Lifelong e-Learning across cultures and recently she edited the book World Wide Work by VU University Press on cross cultural e-learning, internet and credibility of content.
