If you'd like to take care of your own packing, we can help by supplying everything you need to box up your belongings. Call us to order your heavy-duty moving boxes, packing tape and packing paper - we'll save you a trip to the store and deliver your moving supplies right to your home.

Your Moving Day Experience

We know that moving day can be a bit nerve-racking - that's why we work hard to take care of all the little details for you. Here's what you can look forward to when you move with us:

  • We'll pre-plan where we can park our truck, and determine the best route between your old home and your new home
  • We will call to let you know when we're on the way, and we'll take your coffee order at the same time so you can enjoy a fresh, hot coffee while we're working
  • We'll have you walk us through your home so we can discuss any special requests you might have
  • We'll work hard to load the truck in the most efficient, safest way possible
  • Once we arrive at your new home, we'll have you tell us exactly where you'd like everything placed so you don't spend your time moving boxes and furniture around after we leave
  • At the end of the day, we'll give your first housewarming gift

Since I was little I have always obsessed with the concept of being the best. Those that know me know that I am a very competitive person and have always strived to improve what is already considered to be the best. When I first started moving, I saw the opportunity to really WOW a customer, and make what is usually a very hectic day, smooth and easy.

When I found 1-800-GOT-JUNK? I felt I was in the right place! A company that believes in customer service so much, that no job was perfect enough. When You Move Me was created, it was a natural transition for me. My dad and I decided to start this business to fulfill the lifelong dream of owning a business together. I am committed to wowing every single one of our customers, and to make every move day, a stress free day.

A little about myself: I am a football loving, soccer obsessing, outdoor camping energetic nutcase, with a fine eye for detail! I enjoy travelling a lot and had the great experience of backpacking across Europe for 9 months visiting 13 countries and 23 cities. I attended Wilfred Laurier University which made me fall in love with Waterloo and its surroundings.

All In all, I am very excited to be bringing the You Move Me customer experience to Guelph and its awesome surrounding areas.

Hi! I am Harold, and I am here to make sure we are as prepared as we can be for your move. I have enjoyed a sales and marketing career with progressive management responsibilities in leading international companies. In my years of work I have only learned one thing: Keep your clients happy! I intend to bring my knowledge of the business world to make the moving industry professional and reliable. The moving industry is ALL about customer service. It is about helping with the move of your valuable belongings. We are truthful certified professionals that will bring you a stress free experience.

When my son approached me with the idea of starting a You Move Me team together I knew it was a no brainer! What could be more fun than to be part of such a special day: Move Day! I am committed to prepare and give our crew leaders the tools and coaching that they need to WOW you every step of the way!

Outside of work I am an avid music fan and a dedicated family man. I have had the opportunity to work overseas, which has allowed me to build an in depth knowledge of cultural differences, and an ear for world music. Although I do not play any instruments, you can be sure to find me drumming with my pen and pencil at my desk.
