When you use our packing service we offer a free wardrobe service. We'll pack your closet in our wardrobe boxes and unpack everything into the closet, wrinkle-free.

For those who prefer to do their own packing, we can provide you with the supplies. We have boxes, tape, and other packing materials for purchase.

Your Moving Day Experience

On moving day you can expect that we will:

  • Call you in advance to confirm key information (like where you live and where we can park our moving truck).
  • Bring you a fine cup of coffee.
  • Complete a walkthrough of your home so you can point out things that we need to handle with extra care.
  • Get the truck packed quickly and carefully.
  • Unload the truck quickly and get all of your belongings in to the correct rooms in your new home.

I've managed the Portland North 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise since 2007, and am excited to join You Move Me Portland as both the general manager and a partner in the business. Before that, I was a facility manager for UPS in both the United States and Germany, and served in the United States Army in multiple stations in Europe.

I live with my wife, Randi, and my Swiss Mountain Dog in Northeast Portland.

When I'm not helping people move in Portland and area, I’m a professional Bicycle Racer sponsored by a British Manufacturer.

I grew up in the south Portland Metro, spending time in Tualitin, Tigard and Lake Oswego. I currently live in McMinneville. I am an experienced mover, both for local moves and long distance. As a skilled machinist and handyman, I'm also You Move Me Portland's go-to guy for creative solutions.

I really like the fact that every day is different and that I get to help make a stressful time a little easier for people who genuinely appreciate it.

I am both operations manager for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Portland, and a moving crew Lead for You Move Me Portland. I grew up in New Hampshire and moved to Portland to attend Reed College.

After college, I worked in the IT industry but quickly grew bored and joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a way to get from out behind a desk. I love working in the trucks for You Move Me as every day is a new adventure and a way to constantly meet new, interesting people.
