Protecting Your Belongings
Our professional movers in Scarborough will protect your furniture with our heavy duty storage blankets in your home prior to transportation. We also carry shrink wrap if your items need an extra layer of protection. To prevent any damage to large furniture items, we use shoulder harness straps and padded dollies.
We also protect all your hardwood and tile floors when we get to your home at no extra cost. If you need full carpet shield we offer that as well for a small fee. Your home is safe with us.
It is unlikely that there will be any damage; however in the case where there are any damages to your home or items during the move, we will repair or compensate you. We will fix any cosmetic or structural damages to your home and repair or pay you $0.60/lb per damaged item.
Our Packing Service
If packing isn’t your favourite part of moving, that’s alright. We provide three different levels of service ideally suited to any customer, and any move. Our packing services include the following options:
- Single-Items: Perfect for things such as guitars and flat screen TVs, this option is ideal if you have items that you lost the original packaging for or just wanted to receive a little extra attention.
- Individual Rooms: Everyone has that one room of the house that just has too much stuff. Whether it's the kitchen or the kids' toy room, this option is easy for those cluttered rooms.
- Whole Home: If work and other obligations have you too busy to pack, we can do it for you! We'll pack every room of your home so you don't have to worry.
- Wardrobe: We'll pack your clothes in one of our wardrobe boxes so they don't get dirty or wrinkled during the move.
For those who want to handle all their own packing, we have boxes, tape and packing materials you'll need to safely and efficiently pack your things. If there are boxes you don't use, we'll buy them back!
What to Expect
The morning of your move we'll greet you with a cup of hot coffee or tea to give you that morning boost of caffeine. After a thorough walkthrough of your home to ensure everything is packed, we'll start loading the truck. We always put the most important items in last so you can access them first at your new home.
When we arrive at your new home, we'll unload everything efficiently, placing each item in the room you designate so you don't have to shuffling things around later. If you use our packing services, we'll stay to help you unpack those boxes and take the empty ones with us when we leave. Before we go, we'll leave you with a housewarming gift.
