Hi, my name is Jimmy Lu, and I’m the owner of You Move Me Walnut Creek. My team and I service the entire Contra Costa County area, including Walnut Creek and surrounding area including Concord, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Brentwood, Dublin, Danville, Pleasant Hill and Alamo.

We’re different than other moving companies in Walnut Creek and area because we’re promising our customers a stress-free moving experience. How are we going to do that? To start, we’re providing the best moving estimate process possible so people know how much their move is going to cost them. Then, we come on time with our clean shiny truck on moving day. We bring each of our customers a coffee since their coffee machines are already packed (who doesn’t need a coffee on moving day?).

Lastly, our team of movers are highly trained professionals in spotless uniforms. We look like professionals, and we act like professionals, striving to move each of our customers quickly and efficiently from point A to point B.

I got in to the moving business specifically because I’m looking to diversify my businesses. I find the moving industry is competitive but not very professional, leaving many customers unsatisfied with the service they get for one of the most important events of their lives.

When I learned about You Move Me, I felt that it was a great fit for me and my business philosophy. I believe You Move Me will change the industry and set a new standard for moving.

I grew up in the Bay Area and went to school at UC Berkeley. Other than being involved with You Move Me, I am also a franchisor for a restaurant chain in the Bay Area. My hobbies include reading, spending time with my two boys and playing basketball. I am a big fan of the Golden State Warriors.
